Microsoft UK’s tax bill has been challenged, but not by the British government, which agreed to it. Instead, questions have been raised by the Sunday Times. It’s a weak story, but part of the trend whereby US tech giants are attracting more scrutiny as European countries seek to bolster their tax revenues.
